Are the materials used in your parts approved for medical use?

Yes. All of our filters are produced from medical grade plastics and filter media. Additionally, all of our filters have been tested in accordance with U.S. Pharmacopeia standards and qualify as U.S.P. class VI materials.

I can't find just the right part - does PSI do custom work?

Of course! Beginning with a drawing or sketch of your idea, we can help you determine if the part can be produced, as well as the cost and lead times required.

What does the term “hydrophobic” mean?

A hydrophobic media, membrane or material is designed to allow air to pass through it but stop the passage of liquids.
